MultiState Associates is pleased to announce that Jeff Hartgen, Principal, has been re-elected to a second two-year term on the State Government Affairs Council's (SGAC) Board of Directors. SGAC is the premier national association for multi-state government affairs professionals for major U.S. Corporations, trade associations, and service providers.
"We're very happy for Jeff and SGAC," said MultiState's CEO Joe Crosby. "Jeff has deep state government affairs and organizational management expertise, which is a perfect fit for the work of an SGAC Board Member. We're also proud of our continued strong affiliation with SGAC; in addition to Jeff, our team boasts two SGAC Past Presidents and a former Executive Director of SGAC."
"Being a part of the SGAC Board has been a true honor as a state and local government relations professional. Serving alongside my fellow SGAC Board members and engaging with the talented SGAC staff brings to life for me the adage that you learn something new every day," said Hartgen.
Hartgen joined MultiState in 2005 after five years with the global consulting firm Accenture, where he served first as a business development director for Accenture's Michigan government practice and then as its national state and local government relations manager. Prior to Accenture, Hartgen served in various capacities in Michigan state government in the executive and legislative branches.
