States with Attorney General Elections in 2024
Attorney general (AG) seats in ten states are up for election this year. Of the ten attorney general seats up for election in 2024:
- Five seats are currently held by Democrats, and
- Five seats are currently held by Republicans.

Pre-election, there are 22 Democratic AGs 27 Republican AGs and one independent AG.
- Five of the 22 current Democratic lieutenant governors are up for election in 2024.
- Five of the 27 current Republican lieutenant governors are up for election in 2024.
