Lisa joined MultiState in 2020 as a Policy Analyst. She works primarily on healthcare issues. Lisa assists our clients with detailed trend reporting on such issues as drug pricing and pharmacy benefit management regulation. She has done many deep-dives into state law, creating 50-state surveys of current laws to better understand where the best opportunities for policy change may be found. Lisa has also worked on draft legislation and strategic planning.
Lisa has nearly 20 years of experience working with and for state governments. Before joining MultiState, Lisa focused specifically on pharmacy and pharmaceutical issues while at Bula Intelligence. She also worked at the American Kennel Club where she worked with local clubs to establish state PACs. She lobbied at the state and federal levels on behalf of the North Carolina Coalition Against Sexual Assault as a public policy advocate. Lisa also served as a staffer in the office of the North Carolina Speaker of the House and in the office of Senator Frank Murkowski of Alaska.
Lisa is a graduate of the George Washington University GSPM Legislative Affairs Program and PAC Management certificate program. Her undergraduate degree is in international relations from Northern Arizona University. She lives in the DC area with her husband, three children, dog and cat. Lisa is also a certified yoga instructor.
