Compliance Associate
Twilla joined MultiState in 2024 as a Compliance Associate, bringing with her a strong background in regulatory compliance. Before joining MultiState, she served as a Compliance Analyst at The Carlyle Group, where she played a key role in managing day-to-day regulatory compliance functions. There, she helped expand the firm's lobbying compliance operations and oversaw lobbying registrations and reporting obligations for all licensed securities representatives.
Twilla graduated with a degree in Political Science from Robert Morris University in 2019. During her time in college, she gained valuable experience through internships with the environmental non-profit, The Sierra Club, and the Prince George’s County Public School System, where she developed a passion for public policy and regulatory affairs.

As a D.C. area native, she has always enjoyed exploring the city’s vibrant arts and culture scene—from jazz nights to new exhibitions and local events. When she's not immersed in D.C. 's city life, she’s off solo traveling the globe, having already explored 16 international destinations.
