Kim joined MultiState in 2019 and serves as Associate General Counsel. She is a leader on MultiState’s Research team and a member of the Lobbying Compliance and Strategic Government Relations teams. Kim does research across a variety of areas, but has a particular interest in emerging transportation technologies, such as autonomous vehicles and drones. Kim also manages multiple large databases for MultiState’s research and compliance clients.
Prior to joining MultiState, Kim was a Legislative Analyst at a federal government relations firm where she conducted research and tracked legislation for the firm’s technology clients. Kim was also a Policy Fellow at the Electronic Privacy Information Center, a non-profit, non-partisan privacy advocacy group.
Kim is a member of the Maryland Bar and earned a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University where she was an Executive Articles Editor on the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law & Policy. Kim also holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Management from the Hartt School at the University of Hartford (she plays the flute). Kim is a Philadelphia native who currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her cat, Boomer.
